The slats have an MDF core with a real timber veneer. For cleaning, use a duster, a vacuum, or a slightly damp cloth. Please note: Real timber may exhibit slight colour variations, light knots, timber joins, cracks, and surface inconsistencies. It's also expected that continuous exposure to direct sunlight will cause minor colour changes, and prolonged exposure to moisture may cause the timber to warp. The panels were quite easy to install and look great. I've never used a circular saw before but managed to get it done with some liquid nails.
