Coverage Period

This warranty is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. 

Warranty Coverage

Our comprehensive warranty guideline covers all Major Faults i.e. structural and visual integrity for a period of 10 years from date of purchase for ordinary residential usage. 


You will be guaranteed the complete structural integrity of Acouwood®, whereby it will not warp,  separate or delaminate. With appropriate usage, our acoustic wood slats will not separate or warp from our acoustic backing and it will remain as a suitable wall or ceiling covering. You will be guaranteed complete visual integrity, with the surface generally maintaining its timber appearance over time (minus fading or natural changes associated with timber products).


Please note the above is subject to appropriate usage and installation.


Commercial warranties are granted on application and based on usage environment.


During the warranty period, if Acouwood® exhibits a Major Fault, Woodspace will provide a replacement of the product or a comparable product to the customer. 

Warranty Exclusions

  1. Damage by external forces e.g. forceful removal of slats, physical forces, misuse, improper installation or delivery.
  2. Fading, colour or timber changes over time, as timber is a natural material and will change due to prolonged exposure to sunlight. Note that excessive exposure to direct sunlight or extremely dry conditions may cause timber to exhibit minor cracks and splits, which are not considered a defect.
  3. Moisture damage from liquids, accumulated or excessive moisture. 
  4. Customer modifications not approved by the manufacturer.

Note our warranty and refund guidelines do not cover any labour, shipping or installation costs. However, this may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Retain proof of purchase indicating the date of acquisition.
  2. Submit evidence of appropriate installation and usage in accordance with our provided guidelines.
  3. Email support@woodspace with the details of the warranty claim.
