The Marble Slab Look, Without the Tiler

Marble design wall panels bring the drama of a marble slab wall without the weight, cost or upkeep of the real thing. Where a genuine marble installation means specialist tilers, careful sealing and a serious budget, our panels click together to form a continuous, grout-free surface that reads as solid marble from across the room.

The range spans seven marble finishes, from the soft veined whites of Calacatta, through the cooler tones of Grey Quartz, Silver Marble, Grey Marble and Quartz, to the bolder statement look of Nero Marble and Arabescato. Each panel is completely waterproof, making it as much at home behind a bath or across a full shower wall as it is on a dry feature wall.

Installation follows the same straightforward system as the rest of our StoneDesignâ„¢ Panel Series: panels are cut to size, glued directly onto most existing surfaces including tiles and plasterboard, and finished with a silicone seal. No tiler, no grout lines that discolour over time, and a fraction of the cost of engineered stone. Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between marble-look wall panels and real marble?

Marble-look wall panels are made to replicate the appearance of marble, without being cut from actual stone. Our marble finishes use HD print technology with up to 30 unique design variants per pattern, so the veining shifts naturally along the wall rather than repeating in an obvious tile-like pattern. The panel itself is a 9mm core with a textured, anti-scratch wear layer, not a slab of quarried marble. What you get is the visual weight and grain of marble at a fraction of the price and weight, with a grout-free, waterproof surface real marble can't easily match in a shower or splashback, without the cost, maintenance or structural demands of the real thing.

Are marble design wall panels suitable for bathrooms and showers?

Yes, our marble design wall panels are fully waterproof and suit bathrooms and showers particularly well. The tongue-and-groove joins click together to form a watertight seal on their own, no silicone needed there, and once the top, bottom and sides are silicone-sealed, the whole wall becomes a continuous watertight surface, so there's no grout to discolour or reseal over time the way there can be with marble tiles. Calacatta, Silver Marble, Grey Marble and Quartz have a way of catching the light in a steam-filled bathroom, keeping smaller spaces feeling open and airy, while Nero Marble and Arabescato bring real drama as a statement wall behind a bath or vanity. Browse our wider Bathroom Wall Panels range.

How do I choose between the marble panel colours?

Start with the mood you want the room to hold. Calacatta is soft and classic, all white marble and gentle veining, the kind of finish that opens up a smaller bathroom and lets the light do the work. Silver Marble, Grey Marble and Quartz sit in a cooler, more contemporary register, the sort of tones that sit comfortably alongside black tapware and brushed nickel. Nero Marble is the dramatic one, a moody, dark finish best given a single wall to itself rather than spread across a whole room, and Arabescato leans into bold, high-contrast veining for a more classic Italian marble look. If you're torn, order a sample first, marble veining and tone shift under your own light in a way a product photo can't quite capture.

Do marble-look wall panels need sealing or special maintenance?

No. This is one of the main advantages over real marble, which is porous and needs sealing on installation and then periodically resealing to resist staining, especially in a wet area. Our marble design panels have a sealed, waterproof surface straight out of the box, so there's no sealing step during installation and no resealing schedule to maintain afterwards. Day to day care is simple: wipe down with a damp cloth. A genuinely lower-maintenance option for anyone who wants the marble look without the upkeep that comes with natural stone.

Can marble design panels be installed over existing tiles?

Yes, our marble design panels can be installed directly over most existing surfaces, including tiles, plasterboard and other stable, flat walls, provided the surface is clean and sound. This makes them a practical option for renovations where removing old tiles would add significant time, mess and cost. Panels are cut to size, glued into place with our Fast Grab adhesive, and clicked together, then sealed with silicone at the top, bottom and sides (the tongue-and-groove joins themselves don't need silicone). Full step-by-step guidance is in our installation guide, and our team can help if you're unsure whether your existing wall is suitable before you start.
