Shipping & Delivery

Waiting on something you're excited about is the hard part, so here's exactly what happens after you hit order. Our team picks and packs your panels over the next 2 to 3 business days, then hands them to our courier network for delivery anywhere in Australia. From there it's around 2 to 3 business days if you're within Sydney Metro, and up to 10 for WA, NT and remote areas.

Below you'll find your delivery timeframe, what shipping costs, how your panels turn up, and a few simple things to have ready on the day. And if your situation isn't covered here, we'd genuinely love to hear from you before you order; email support@woodspace.com.au or give us a call on (02) 8550 1832 and we'll sort it out together.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?

Your delivery has two parts: the time we spend packing it, and the time the courier spends bringing it to you.

Packing: 2–3 business days. Our panels are long and heavy, so every order is picked, checked and packed by hand. It's the fussiest part of what we do, and it's the reason the vast majority of orders arrive in perfect condition.

Delivery: once your order is on its way, timing depends on where you are.

Where you are Time with the courier Total from when you order
NSW Metro 2–3 business days 4–6 business days
NSW Other 3–5 business days 5–8 business days
VIC & QLD 3–6 business days 5–9 business days
SA, NT & WA 4–10 business days 6–13 business days

We'd love to promise these to the day, but couriers occasionally run behind and that part is out of our hands. If your order is taking longer than the window above, please reach out, we'll chase it up for you.

One tip that saves a lot of headaches: hold off on booking your installer until your panels have actually landed. Delays are rare, but a rescheduled tradesperson is an expensive surprise, and it's one we'd hate for you to have. Woodspace is strictly not liable for costs incurred if your order is delayed.

Planning something custom? Custom sizes are available on orders of 100 panels or more. Email support@woodspace.com.au and we'll put together a quote and a realistic timeframe for you.

WHAT SHIPPING COSTS

Your exact rate comes down to the weight, size and destination of your order. The easiest way to see it is to pop your panels in the cart and enter your address at checkout; you'll see the full cost before you pay, with no surprises at the end. Every price on our site includes GST.

A couple of things worth knowing:

  • → Out-of-the-way suburbs. A handful of postcodes sit outside our regular courier routes. If yours is one of them, no problem at all, we'll organise a custom freight quote for you. Just get in touch.
  • → Changing your order. If you add or remove panels later, your shipping cost may shift a little, since it's based on the final size and weight.

HOW YOUR PANELS ARRIVE

Your panels come packed flat in protective cardboard boxes (excludes Outdoor Cladding), sized to the panel length. Deliveries run Monday to Friday. Couriers can't offer a set day or timeslot, so please allow for the full window on your delivery day. Couriers are advised to call 30 minutes to delivery.

Getting your panels off the truck

Because panels are long and heavy, a little prep makes delivery day much easier. All deliveries must be unloaded by you. You have a time frame of 20 minutes to unload, and drivers are not required to help unless we've arranged it in advance (a service fee may apply).

Three things to line up beforehand:

  • → A second pair of hands to help carry the longer panels
  • → Somewhere for the truck to park, or a loading zone nearby
  • → A clear, flat path from the kerb to where the panels are going. Drivers can't take the truck down a sloping driveway, so they'll unload at the nearest street

Would you like unloading help arranged? Just let us know before your order ships and we'll look into what's possible for your address.

Living in an apartment or high-rise?

These deliveries take a bit more planning, and we're happy to help you work it out. Our vehicles can't get into basement car parks or garages, and street access at these buildings is often tight, so drivers will bring your order to the nearest accessible ground-level spot, rather than into the building or up to your floor. The smoothest approach is to have someone ready to help move the panels from that drop-off point. And if there's anything we should know about access, a loading dock to book, a height limit, a lift to reserve, tell us as soon as you order and we'll plan around it.

If you're not home

The courier will give you a call when they arrive, and if nobody's there to take the delivery, they'll simply arrange a redelivery with you for another day. Just keep an eye out for their call so you can lock in a time that suits you.

PREFER TO COLLECT?

If you're local, you're very welcome to pick your order up from us:

Unit 7, 78 Harley Crescent, Condell Park NSW 2200

Do bring a vehicle that can take the panel length, most orders won't fit in a sedan, and we'd hate for you to make the trip twice. And please have a quick recount of your items before you head off.

Our showroom is at the same address if you'd like to see and feel the panels in person first. It's by appointment, and we love showing people around.

PEAK SEASON & SALE PERIODS

A few times a year things get properly busy around here. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, the Boxing Day and New Year sales, EOFY in June, and the run-up to Christmas when everyone's finishing a room before the family arrives.

We plan ahead for these and bring in extra hands to keep orders moving. But when order volume jumps and the country's whole freight network is carrying its heaviest load of the year, things do slow down a little. We'd rather tell you that upfront than have it be a surprise.

What to expect

  • → Add a few days to your estimate. During peak periods, allow extra business days on top of our standard timeframes. Couriers are the bigger variable here, not us, their networks get congested even when our packing stays right on schedule.
  • → Order earlier than feels necessary. If your panels need to be up by a particular date, give yourself a buffer. It costs nothing to order a week early and it takes all the stress out of it. We highly recommend to not book installers until you receive your order.
  • → Public holidays don't count. Our timeframes are in business days, so long weekends and public holidays push things out. Worth factoring in around Easter and the Christmas–New Year stretch.

NOT READY TO ORDER? TRY SAMPLES FIRST

Choosing a finish from a screen is hard, and there's no need to guess. Samples come straight to your door so you can see the timber grain, the colour and the felt backing in your own light, next to your own floors and furniture.

Best part: sample packs are fully refundable when you go on to buy full-size panels. So there's really no risk in trying a few.

One small heads-up, because our panels are real timber veneer, your full-size panels will vary slightly in colour and grain from the sample. That's not a flaw, it's the material doing its thing, and it's part of why real timber looks so good on a wall.

IF SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT

We check every order before it leaves us, but freight is freight and occasionally things go sideways. If they do, we'll look after you, here's the quickest way to get it sorted.

  • → Your order arrived damaged Send us an email at support@woodspace.com.au within five working days with your order number and a few photos, and we'll arrange collection and a replacement. Photos really do speed things up, so snap them before you unpack too far.
  • → Part of your order hasn't shown up Sometimes a shipment gets split across vehicles and the rest catches up a day later. If it's been more than five working days and something's still missing, email us your order number and we'll chase the courier for you.
  • → You've changed your mind That's completely fine, it happens, and we've built one of the friendliest returns policies around for exactly this reason. You have 30 days from your order date to start a return on unopened, undamaged, resellable panels. Return freight is at your cost and a restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns. One exception: adhesives and glues can't be returned once they've been dispatched.
