Coverage:

  • Outdoor Cladding - approximately 5 to 6 screws are required per 2900mm cladding panel - 1 bag (100 screws) covers approximately 15 to 20 panels.
  • Indoor Panelling - for panels of approximately 2700 - 3000mm tall and 520mm - 600mm wide, you will require one bag for 4 - 6 panels if installed on a vertical wall. You will require double the screws if installing to a ceiling (and adhesive as well).

Do I need to pre-drill when using timber batten screws?

Yes. Even though these are self-tapping screws, we recommend pre-drilling the cladding panel before fixing to timber battens. This helps prevent cracking and allows for natural expansion and contraction of the cladding.

What are these screws suitable for?

These screws are designed for fixing outdoor WPC cladding panels to timber or WPC battens and joists. They are not suitable for aluminium or steel battens.

Can I use these screws for aluminium battens?

No. Timber batten screws are not designed to penetrate aluminium. For aluminium battens, use aluminium batten screws instead.

Are these screws suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. These screws are suitable for exterior cladding installations when used as recommended and in accordance with our installation guidelines.
