Product materials and care

Material
Woodspace Outdoor Wall Panels are made from high-performance WPC (Wood Plastic Composite), combining wood fibres, polyethylene (PE), and a protective Surlyn® surface layer. This composite construction provides strength, moisture resistance, and long-term durability for exterior applications.

Care & Maintenance
Minimal maintenance is required. Panels can be cleaned with water and a mild detergent as needed to remove dust or surface dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or high-pressure washing. Regular light cleaning will help maintain the appearance of the cladding over time.

How to install

Woodspace Outdoor Cladding is installed onto timber or aluminium battens and must not be fixed directly to walls or surfaces. Battens should be installed level and spaced correctly to allow airflow and drainage behind the panels.

Panels can be installed vertically or horizontally depending on the design. Appropriate expansion gaps must be allowed to accommodate natural movement caused by temperature changes. Pre-drilling is recommended to ensure a clean finish and to reduce stress on the panels during installation.

For best results and long-term performance, professional installation is recommended. Please refer to the installation guide for full instructions.

Disclaimer

This tool gives you a good estimate, but it’s not always exact. If your wall height is taller than one panel, it may suggest an extra full panel per row, even if only a small piece is needed. Remember, panels can often be cut to fit multiple rows. Mixing panel sizes can also help reduce waste and cost.
